1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that a website you visit stores in your browser. The browser's local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) can be used for similar purposes. This policy covers both.
2. Types of cookies used
- Strictly necessary: required to maintain your session, authenticate you and keep the service secure. They need no consent and cannot be disabled; if disabled, you cannot sign in.
- Preference: remember choices such as theme, language and layout. They stay in your browser and are not sent to the server.
- Analytics (website only, only with consent): help us understand how the website is used. They run only with your explicit consent; if you do not consent, these tools set no cookies.
No analytics or advertising cookies are used inside the Platform (application, authentication, form and file services).

The website itself sets no first-party cookies; the third-party analytics cookies above are set only after you choose "Accept". IP addresses are anonymised in Google Analytics; contact form fields are masked in Clarity recordings. Public form pages (forms.cloudotnet.tech) set no cookies; the form session is maintained with a signed token kept in the page, and Cloudflare Turnstile is used for human verification. File access links (files.cloudotnet.tech) use no cookies.
5. Managing your preferences
- Website analytics: choose "Accept" or "Reject" in the banner shown on your first visit. To change your choice, clear the site data (localStorage) in your browser; the banner is shown again. If you reject, the analytics tools set no cookies and take no measurements.
- Browser settings: you can view, delete and block cookies in your browser. If you block strictly necessary cookies you cannot sign in to the Platform.
- Google and Microsoft: the browser add-on can be used for Google Analytics; browser cookie settings for Clarity.
6. Changes
This policy is published with a version number and effective date. It is updated whenever the cookies in use change.
